Konkani short story book penned by Vice President of Goa Konkani Akademi Vincy Quadros titled TURO has been recently released at Raia on the eve of Konnsam fest.
The book contain ten top stories based on different topics of life but are mostly related to the graces of Our Lady. May she be a Hindu or Christian, she depicts her love to her devotees. Last story of the book describes the festive mood of Konnsam fest and the believers (bhavarthi) of Raia village, Salcette, Goa.
The book is dedicated to Our Lady of Snows. Vincy Quadros being a catechist have deep faith in Our Lady of Snows. May she give him strength to continue with the literature of Konkani and spirituality. Recently he has published one spiritual book called Otmik Vichardhara which is collection of his spiritual thoughts shared with the devotees and catechetical students sida Fr. Cipriano da Silva, Parish Priest of Raia while speaking on the book TURO. The book was released at the hands of Fr. Seby Quadros, son of Raia at Raia church premises. He lauded the works of Vincy Quadros and gave him encouragement to do better in the filed of literature. Other priests present for the function are Fr. Leenoy, Fr. Nazareth, Fr. Salvador alongwith Vincy Quadros.
Vincy Quadros has penned down several books like Fuldani, Sukh ani Dukh, Ghons, Kurponno, Otmik vichardhara. He is a great writer of the Konkani literature who writes both in Devnagiri and Roman script. His writings has been published in almost all the Konkani magazines.
